Cheri Phyfer
Cheri Phyfer is president, Fortune Brands Global Plumbing Group (GPG).
Cheri is responsible for continuing to drive above-market growth across the GPG platform while building strong, iconic brands and bringing innovation into the market through acquisitions and strategic partnerships that drive continued market outperformance. Her brand leadership includes the continued rejuvenation of the Moen brand, which has distinguished its category leadership with the “Who Designs for Water?” campaign; and further establish the House of Rohl platform, which has solidified its luxury category leadership with “The Story Craft Tells” positioning.
Cheri was most recently president, GPG Americas. She first joined the GPG in 2018 as president, U.S. Businesses. In this role, she had responsibility for the business strategy to increase market share and achieve exceptional business results. She oversaw innovation in sales, marketing and product development with a focus on driving profitable growth.
Cheri joined the company from The Sherwin-Williams Company. During her impressive 20-year career there, she ran two of the company’s largest store divisions prior to serving as president, Consumer Brands Group. In this role, she led a $2+ billion global group consisting of 60 marquee and private-label brands sold to more than 5,000 customers in North America, Europe, China, Australia and New Zealand through more than 50,000 outlets. She distinguished herself as a strategic business unit leader with a proven ability to grow market share across an extensive portfolio of brands.
Cheri holds a holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Clemson University.
Irial Finan
Irial is a member of the Compensation Committee and the Nominating, Environmental, Social & Governance Committee.
Irial began his service on Fortune Brands’ Board of Directors in February 2019.
Most recently, Irial was Executive Vice President of The Coca-Cola Company and President of Bottling Investments Group, a position he held from 2004 to 2017. In total, his career with The Coca-Cola Company spanned 37 years, and during his time there he held key leadership roles in finance and operations across Europe, worked with expanding markets and managed business integrations. Finan currently serves on the Board of Directors at Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings Inc., Coca-Cola European Partners plc and Smurfit Kappa Group plc, as well as on the boards of several charitable and non-public organizations.
Irial is a graduate of the National University of Ireland in Galway.
